 Children/Youth

Our Children's and Youth's Sunday School curriculum is titled Living the Good News.  The curriculum follows the revised common lectionary, so children and youth will be studying the same Scripture that Dr. Fant will be using in his sermons. The revised common lectionary is a three year cycle of scriptures that covers ninety percent of the gospels and provides semi-sequential readings of great Old Testament passages.  The Living the Good News curriculum provides age appropriate instruction and reflection on passages chosen for the week and provides take home papers in all age levels through middle school so that parents are aware of what their children are learning in Sunday School and can supplement that at home.

In addition the curriculum is supplemented with Seeds of Faith.  Seeds of Faith offers educational objectives for each age level----2 year old through high school.  Through implementation of Seeds of Faith, we hope to ensure that our children and youth will grow up with a strong knowledge of the Bible and a deep understanding of their faith and their commitment to Jesus Christ.  View the Seeds of Faith objectives here.

Classes meet from 9:45-10:45 am.  The various classes meet in Building "A", "B", and the classrooms adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.  See the classroom map below.
